Weighing Distant Clusters using Gravitational Lensing
Ian Dell'Antonio, National Optical Astronomy Observatory
I will present recent results on the use of Gravitational Lensing
to measure the distribution of dark matter in galaxy clusters.
The results place significant constraints on theories
of the nature of dark matter and of the formation
of large structures.
Colloquium starts at 16:00 in Room 245 and lasts about 1 hour
including questions. Refreshments are served at 15:30 in room 245.
