The Next Linear Collider
Charles Baltay, Yale University
A linear e+e- collider with an energy
of 0.5-1.5 TeV is an attractive option for the next step in
High Energy Physics. I will discuss the physics studies such
a machine would enable, the design of the collider, and the
design of a detector to observe such collisions.
Colloquium starts at 16:00 in Room 245 and lasts about 1 hour
including questions. Refreshements are served at 15:30 in room 245.
