Specify and Machine Mating Surfaces

While the Central Manifold Ends (Cornell drawing 6058-031 REV A) will be manufactured by Cornell and supplied to the vendor, two noted mating surfaces must be tailored to match the beryllium machined tubes. It is the responsibility of the vendor to specify the amount of stock to leave on these surfaces and to perform the final machining to dimensions that will insure a good electron beam weld.
