Neutrinos and New Physics

Prof. Andre de Gouvea

Northwestern University

The goal of this talk is to discuss the physics that we think we have unveiled in the past few years with the experimental determination that neutrinos have mass. I'll describe several ideas related to giving the neutrinos a mass and explaining the pattern of leptonic mixing. Finally, I'll discuss that the neutrino sector may end up being even more interesting than we suspect if the LSND anomaly is confirmed by the MiniBooNE experiment.
