Physics 3300: Introduction to Modern Physics

Winter 2005

Lecture: 10:40-11:35 MWF, Physics 177

This is a three credit course open to students who have completed Physics 2180 or by consent of the instructor. Introduction to relativity, quantum phenomena, atomic structure, quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics, quantum optics, nuclear physics, elementary particles, and anti-particles. Students can also coregister for the accompaning lab course Physics 3310 for one credit.
